Ea's
Offerings
Ea started teaching classical ballet to kids in 2002. Transitioning from professional ballet to delving deeper into modern and contemporary dance in 2008, she found that teaching is the best way for her to understand the underlying principles and processes that motivate the body to move and act in more interesting capacities. She found that Dance is no longer just a style, a genre, a form, a syllabus, but something that could go beyond these labels and become accessible to people of all age, size, shapes, gender and background.

Since 2010, Ea has been teaching barre fitness workouts, then later on Yoga and Reiki. She has also received specialized training in Contact Improvisation, Physical Theatre, Viewpoints Method and various Improvisation and Choreography Techniques through her travels abroad. Nowadays, her thrust is to enrich the experience of dancers and performers by opening them up to deep, intuitive sensing and self-awareness, and for non-dancers– to use mindful and liberating movement as a gateway to centeredness and personal growth. She teaches dance as not only something you ‘perform’, but also a powerful tool you use to know, transform and transcend yourself.

She formed the dance theatre collective, Daloy Dance Company in 2014, a group that has since then made waves in the Manila art scene and toured in Korea, Thailand, Japan and USA. Daloy is a platform for her choreographic endeavors and an experimental ground for new workshops and educational programs she intends to share to a wider demographic.
